This Singer Featherweight 222K is in great condition, and it was commissioned on March 15th, 1960, in Kilbowie, Scotland!
Completely serviced inside and out – this Featherweight 222 will be ready to sew right out of the case. It is fitted with an original 220-volt motor that has been rewound to work at 110-voltage with optimum speed and torque. A voltage converter is not needed in the USA or Canada. During approximately the last three years of the production of the 222K, Singer used the updated Red ‘S’ badge on their machines. Because Singer was making fewer Featherweights during these years, a Featherweight with this badge is additionally collectible.
