June Doe collections are razor-edge cut (not pinked) and packaged immediately to protect against fraying – we recommend leaving them packaged until use to prevent damage.
Modern fabric production includes processes to pre-shrink and improve colorfastness – DO NOT machine pre-wash jelly roll strips as they will fray to the point of un-usability! Wash finished project with a color-catcher (Shout! makes color-catcher sheets) and immediately transfer to a warm dryer.
