By using a Raw Edge sewing style, a lot of artistic detail can be added with curved irregular shapes, add applique as well as beads and buttons if desired. However, if you prefer a clean, finished look the Flip and Sew style may work best for you, (by using this technique, all raw edges and seams allowances are hidden as you sew).
